An accomplished entrepreneur and career professional, Barb has over 20 years of experience working with small businesses, governments and not-for-profit organisations.
Barb's interest in trust at work led her to train personally with internationally renowned trust-building experts Michelle Reina, PhD and Dennis Reina, PhD. Barb is certified to conduct individual, team and organisational Reina trust assessments.
Within the Military Family Services sector, Barb was the Military Family Services Regional Manager for the United States, leading a team of geographically dispersed staff. Prior to that, she was the Prairie Regional Field Operations Manager, sought after for providing effective support to Executive Directors, Boards and service delivery teams at Military Family Resource Centres.
Barb's innate ability to get to the core of a complex issue resulted in the creation of the Prepare-Move-Arrive, Connect-Settle-Thrive impact-focused outcome planning tool. The model caught on and is now used as a national best practice approach for identifying the needs and services that address the military lifestyle relocation cycle.

She is dedicated to advancing leaders and the organisations they serve, combining neuroscience-informed leadership development with practical, first-hand experience of non-profit governance and management.
For over 20 years, Caterina held progressively senior roles within Military Family Services (Employment Coach, European Regional Manager, Senior Manager of Military Family Services - Canada and Executive Director of the National Capital Region). As Senior Manager of Military Family Services, Caterina provided consultation, support and training to the Executive Directors and Boards of Canadian Military Family Resource Centres. Supporting that national network of non-profits gave her first-hand insight into the challenges Executive Directors and Boards face.
Additionally, Caterina has personally experienced the military lifestyle as a reservist, as the spouse of a military member who served in the Army and Air Force, and currently as the spouse of a Veteran.
